【翻译段落1】中国的高考制度
The College Entrance Examination, commonly known as Gaokao, is the most important exam for Chinese high school students. Held annually in June, it determines which universities students can attend. For millions of students, Gaokao represents years of hard work and determination. The exam lasts two or three days and covers subjects such as Chinese, mathematics, English, and comprehensive science or arts. Although Gaokao is challenging and stressful, it is widely regarded as a fair way to select students based on merit. In recent years, education reforms have been carried out to make the system more flexible and student-oriented.
